There really is something for everyone here! This large playground has a great many climbing and balancing options, sand play elements, rest and relaxation areas and various slides. Inclusion and accessibility are also key here, as a space where everyone can play together. This playground is defined by bright colours that create a cheerful mood and a material combination of robinia wood and steel.
The first area comprises three platforms, which are reached by rungs, climbing logs or ladders. An additional balancing section with pipes, beams, ropes, monkey bars and stepping plates on posts positively encourages climbing. The largest platform is almost 3 m high and has a projecting balcony with a view over the entire system. The tunnel slide takes children back down again.
The second area has a barrier-free platform. Ground-level installation and wheel deflectors around the edges ensure that walking frame- and wheelchair users of all ages can join in the fun. A rope net and double hammock allow visitors to rest once they’ve tackled the plank bridge, slalom section and stilts.
The third area is designed for climbing and balancing. You can test your balance on ropes, cables and pipes. Then it’s time to swing from one monkey bar to the other. Skill is required here, too, as it is when it comes to crossing the stepping plate section. The large platform can then be exited via the curves of the closed spiral chute.
The fourth area focuses on inclusion. The bar system with the pavilion is constructed in such a way that wheelchair users and walkers can easily access the equipment. In addition to seat bollards and a bench seat, this area also features an accessible sandboard with funnels and a sand lift.
